Q&A
How does the treatment feel?
Topical anaesthetics are used for each procedure, which helps to minimise discomfort. Some clients have likened the eyebrow treatment to the sensation of constant plucking.
How long will the pigment remain in the skin?
Pigments can remain in the skin from anywhere between 2 – 5 years. Each skin type is very different and breaks the pigment down at various rates, also exposure to U.V and swimming can affect the pigment's stability from year to year.
How long does the treatment take?
Procedure time can be between 20 and 30 minutes as Diahann's years of experience has reduced this to a minimum. The consultation can take up to 1/2 hour, but again this may vary.
What will I look like after the procedure?
Immediately after the procedure the skin can be mildly red and sometimes slightly swollen, but this soon reduces. The colour will appear slighlty darker which will soften and lighten after a week . Normal activities can be resumed immediately.
Is the treatment safe?
Diahann always uses state of the art digital technology which allows safe delivery of pigment into the skin. All the equipment is sterile, and disposable items used where possible. This is clearly demonstrated with your first appointment.
When will I need a treatment done again?
The pigment fades over several years. However if you wish to sustain the intensity of the colour you may have a maintenance treatment yearly.
